George Howard hails from Watsonville, CA, where he was immersed in Chicano Art and the lowrider lifestyle from a young age, shaping his artistic vision. At 19, his journey took a significant turn when he joined the USAF, serving in Charleston, SC, from 2005 to 2009. During this time, he pursued his passion for art by attending Winthrop University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication with an emphasis on figurative painting. After graduating, George honed his skills as an apprentice at Wild Oats Tattoo mastering learning American traditional North Carolina style tattoos and laying the foundation for his future career. Over the next four years, he extensively traveled through the tattoo convention circuit, connecting with some of the best black and grey tattoo artists in the world, particularly from Southern California and all over the USA. Through these experiences, George developed a unique and captivating style that seamlessly blends diverse influences, showcasing his talent and passion for tattoo artistry. Today, he lives in Charlotte, NC and continues to push boundaries and elevate his craft, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who experiences his work.
